David Morales is an iconic figure in the world of electronic dance music, widely regarded as one of the most influential DJs and producers of the past few decades. Born in 1962 in Brooklyn, New York, Morales is known for pioneering house music, both as a DJ and as a remixer/producer.

He began his career in the 1980s, during the height of New York’s club scene, playing at famous venues such as the Paradise Garage and the Loft. His rise to fame coincided with the explosion of house music, and Morales quickly became known for his ability to blend deep, soulful rhythms with high-energy beats, creating unique and immersive sets.

As a remixer, David Morales has crafted some of the most memorable and chart-topping remixes of all time. He has worked with an array of top artists, including Mariah Carey, Madonna, Michael Jackson, U2, and Whitney Houston. His remixes of Mariah Carey’s “Dreamlover” and “Fantasy” are particularly legendary, cementing his reputation as a master of the remix format.
